Abstract

As the number of sites has increased over time, there has been an increase in the number of pages on the internet, and therefore, the responsibility to improve notability means to help sites increases. The purpose of this article is to investigate the characteristics of UX for website development and the entire creation of a web page. The article's methodology consists of a bibliographic research to contextualize the user's usability and interactivity, thus bringing methods that can facilitate the implementation processes in web development. A questionnaire was also applied to developers of companies in the state of São Paulo as a methodology to identify the difficulties of how usability is applied on their websites and the reasons why little is applied in the companies in which they operate. With the main results obtained, as it is a small sample of professionals who work in a region of the state that is strong in terms of development, it was found that there is great difficulty during the implementation of usability on websites, but everyone understands the importance of User Experience methods to help websites, and also the group reported the little usability applied in their companies, noting the lack of professionals with this knowledge.
