The way a product appears on the market is related to the form and importance of quality in its manufacturing. Therefore, each company has a performance metric to maintain continuous improvement within its manufacturing processes. The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between continuous improvement and the performance measurement system. The methodology used was bibliographical research and case study. The objective was achieved through the case study in which we can see that there is no opportunity for improvement if we do not know where the improvement work should be done. Another point to be noted is that performance measurement systems can be refined to provide information that generates benefits and improvements for the company, thus making it more competitive.
