IMPACTS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON SOCIETY

Abstract

This article addresses the effects of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on society, highlighting both its positive impacts and associated risks. The primary objective of this study is to analyze how the proliferation of AI is transforming various sectors of society and what the implications are for the future. The methodology employed involved a review of existing literature on AI and its impacts. The research findings indicate that AI is driving significant advances in areas such as medicine, industrial automation, and mobility, thereby enhancing efficiency and quality of life. However, risks are also underscored, including ethical concerns, job displacement due to automation, and threats to privacy. The article's conclusions emphasize the importance of proactively addressing these challenges by developing appropriate policies and regulations to guide the responsible use of AI in society. Additionally, there is a need for education and awareness about the impacts of AI to foster an informed debate and shape a more balanced and ethical future for technology.
