Revista Interface Tecnológica implementa uso do ORCID iD

2020-08-03

ORCiD (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is a free and persistent unique digital identifier that distinguishes one academic / researcher from another and solves the problem of ambiguity between authors and individuals, replacing variations with a unique numeric code, which guarantees the researcher and the journal the correct identification of their authors, ensuring greater reliability in the verification of citations and in the performance of indexing.

Currently, many national and international indexers already require that associated journals implement ORCID iD in their publications. In order to meet this requirement, and to enable indexing in new indexes, Interface Tecnológica magazine decided to make it necessary to use the ORCID Id to identify all authors when submitting the article.

The creation of ORCID iD is free and can be done by accessing the following link: https://orcid.org/
