Abstract

OpenAI is a company that has stood out in the development of Artificial Intelligence for chatbots, creating its first model called GPT, wich has been evolving every day, bringing new versions like GPT-3.5 and GPT-4. This evolution has gone from an Artificial Intelligence that processed only text to an Artificial Intelligence that processes images, revolutionizing the art of producing videos, images, texts, etc. This article explores this evolution and its nuances, as well as its processing capabilities demonstrated through a bibliographic study on the subject. The first chapters of this article exposed and explained what GPT chatbots are. Then a performance comparison between the GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 models was exposed, in another section the architecture and the models were explored with a focus on increasing their parameters. In the following section, the performance of each model was evaluated through an examination of ENEM 2022 and finally, its limitations and dangers of this tool were analyzed, as observed the points that need to improve and finally, we made the conclusion highlighting the remarkable evolution and the great expectation of advances in business and other sectors, also highlighting the need to make this tool an accessible instrument so that everyone can participate in these advances, making it more democratic.
