This study aims to demonstrate the crucial impact of effective planning on the implementation of new software and the transition of systems, highlighting how a structured approach can minimize challenges and maximize expected benefits. The research was carried out through field data collection and interviews with managers from various sectors of a healthcare company, which allowed an analysis of the main aspects of planning, such as defining objectives, allocating resources and internal communication. The results show that the lack of structured planning exacerbates the difficulties of the transition. The conclusions offer practical guidelines to facilitate an efficient systems migration without major disruptions. In summary, the study contributes to the development of best practices in software implementation, bringing direct benefits to organizations of all sizes.
