Abstract

This article analyzes the interrelationship between sustainability in logistics and employee engagement. Initially, it presents fundamental concepts about sustainable logistics, such as process optimization, carbon footprint and eco-efficient packaging, based on leading authors in the field. It then discusses the positive impact of sustainable logistics practices on employee motivation and commitment, exploring motivational factors such as purpose, pride and value alignment. Subsequently, it presents concrete cases of companies that achieved significant gains in engagement and productivity by adopting sustainable transport and logistics operations initiatives. It defends the strategic importance of sustainable logistics not only for its environmental benefits, but also as a powerful lever for internal engagement and a source of competitive advantages. Finally, it emphasizes the central role of sustainable logistics in integrating business with the environmental values ​​of contemporary society and the expectations of new generations of employees.
