Abstract

Cloud migration is the process of relocating organization’s data, applications, and workloads to a cloud infrastructure. The organization might choose to relocate all your computing assets to a cloud. However, in most cases, some applications and services remain at local environment due to enterprise polices and security reasons. Even with the fact of changing from a company to another one, is very common the usage of more than one cloud service and also more than one cloud, being public or private one, which contributes to a hybrid scenario. The following documentation presents the importance and challenges of the cloud migration process.
