the use of robotics in industry 4.0

The main feature of Industry 4.0 or the Fourth Industrial Revolution is the use of intelligent objects and machines. Within this context fits the use of robotics that brings important and advanced technologies. This article aims to highlight the use of robotics within Industry 4.0, highlighting the main advantages of using this technology. For this study, a bibliographic survey was carried out on books, academic articles and publications where the main focus is Industry 4.0 and how artificial intelligence, through the use of robotics, is inserted within this reality. The studied literature makes it clear that society is living in the era of the fourth industrial revolution and that the use of increasingly advanced technologies is a characteristic to be adopted by most industries, especially those that wish to evolve and remain in a market totally focused on the use of artificial intelligence.
