Abstract

The objective was to analyze and identify losses that occur along the orange production chain since it is a product that manages to stamp the country as one of the best producers and exporters of fruit and derivatives. Such processes are carried out with the utmost care to maintain the quality of their goods, but in parts where there is no influence, the macro environment manages to induce large losses due to climatic problems such as storms and frosts, but man has been equal to such losses that occur in the activities of harvesting, loading, transporting, unloading and storage. Analyzing this, it is noticed that losses occur even with the entrepreneur's awareness and do not want to invest so much for small improvements, without realizing that annually small losses become of great weight for the investor's profit.
