Abstract

The objective of this work was to carry out a study around Production Planning and Control, aiming to understand the importance and the advantages that this tool provides for organizations, as well as studying which are the main tools that a planner must have to maintain an effective PCP and efficient. This article consists of bibliographic, field and exploratory research, in order to prove that the PCP is necessary for companies that wish to remain active in the competitive market. Through research and results it was possible to conclude that the PCP has the objective of planning, directing and controlling the efforts of organizations so that the goals and objectives are achieved.
