THE IMPORTANCE OF ETHICS IN THE WORKPLACE

Abstract

This article aimed to analyze whether the inclusion of ethics is applied in people's daily lives, highlighting how ethics and morals are extremely important in the workplace and how they bring benefits both personally and to the company. Although ethical attitudes are highly demanded in the workplace, it is noted that employees have some difficulty in putting them into practice, but with the study it is possible to have a more intense reflection on how they are used in the corporation. The survey was prepared with 10 questions, addressed to9 12 employees from three (3) different companies. A set of responses concluded that most people act correctly and fairly, but some still not so much. However, the objective of impacting employees was achieved efficiently, leading each one to reflect on their attitudes, being able to improve their actions, making the environment much more pleasant and respectful.
