FINANCIAL PLANNING FOR OPENING A GYPSUM RECYCLING COMPANY

Abstract

This article aimed to highlight the costs of the gypsum recycling process used in agriculture. The methodology adopted was a descriptive approach and had as its starting point a bibliographic reference on the object of study that guides the recycling of gypsum, in which it was carried out with the help of books, articles, master's and doctoral theses and with the help of the internet. The method used was quantitative. Data were collected from suppliers by telephone contact from February 2024 to September 2024 and tabulated with the Excel tool for financial calculation purposes. For the feasibility of the production cost per ton of recycled gypsum, an initial investment of R$200,00.00 was considered, it also considered raw material, labor, electricity, calcination and investment of the enterprise (maintenance, depreciation of machinery. It is concluded that conducting a financial forecasting study is essential for anyone who wants to open a new company, especially in emerging sectors such as gypsum recycling. This type of business not only has great environmental appeal, but it can also be quite lucrative.  Understanding the costs, risks, and opportunities involved allows the entrepreneur to make safer decisions and take advantage of the potential of an expanding market, where the positive impact on the environment.
