This article has as didactic and concise marked how industrial robotization occurred in this sector, addressing how autonomous manipulators (robots) are built, what are their benefits for the industry, what are the components used for their construction and what are the different types of robots available for use ranging from a Cartesian robot, which is the case of modern 3D printers, to a SCARA used to move small objects or electronic equipment. The intent is to show the history of robotics and automation areas that are closely linked in the modern world, since one and the other, in addition to clearly showing that these two areas, one more recent than the other, are part of the large 4.0 industry where the companies are smarter and that their processes are closely linked to each other in a way. With this article it can be concluded that technological advances are increasingly taking place in a short period of time and that evolutions are something in which people already not having the power to fight against is inevitable, even with fear the future tends to be something magnificent and intriguing.
