GENERAL DATA PROTECTION LAW IN A PANDEMIC SOCIETY

Law 13.709/2018, known as the “General Data Protection Law”, is the most current and most important Brazilian norm in relation to data preservation, it decrees how this data must be collected and treated safely. The current study is a bibliographical research for information analysis, examining the requirements and technologies in the midst of a worldwide spread of COVID-19, where the collection and storage of data has grown massively due to the need for continuity in the routine of students and professionals in the midst of social isolation through technology, communicated to LGPD in a mandatory pillar that will reach millions of companies, highlighting the urgency of adapting large and small organizations to the new directives.
