Abstract

The text in question discusses a meticulous review conducted in the literature regarding health and well-being in the work environment of the construction industry, highlighting it as one of the economic activities with high rates of hazard. The findings emphasize a series of inherent risks in this area, including falls, crushes, cuts, exposure to harmful chemical substances, and intense noise pollution. It underscores the urgent need for companies to incorporate proactive strategies and risk management, which encompasses the promotion of the conscious use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the development of educational and training programs for professionals in the sector. Furthermore, the article highlights the vital importance of the role of authorities in stringent supervision and effective enforcement of existing safety regulations. Strict adherence to these initiatives could not only mitigate the risks associated with work in the construction industry but also ensure the preservation of the health and physical integrity of the workers. The inclusion of references from renowned authors could further solidify the suggestions for preventive measures mentioned in section 2.3 of the article. By implementing these actions, a significant reduction in the dangers present in this industry is expected, promoting a safer and healthier work environment.
